Rugs need their own cleaning assessment
A rug is not simply a small carpet. Fibre, dyes, backing, fringe and construction can all change what is safe and effective, so we avoid treating every rug in exactly the same way.
Include rugs in a wider cleaning quotation
If you are booking carpet or upholstery cleaning, list the rugs in the same enquiry so they can be considered as part of the overall job.
Rug cleaning is assessed separately from fitted carpet
Rugs can contain wool, synthetic fibres, cotton, viscose and mixed constructions, sometimes with unstable dyes or specialist backing. Because of that variety, a rug should be checked as an individual item even when it is being cleaned during a wider carpet-cleaning visit. The aim is to choose a suitable method and avoid assuming that a process used on fitted carpet is automatically appropriate.
Add rugs to a qualifying cleaning visit
Rug cleaning is an add-on rather than a stand-alone call-out. If you are already requesting carpet, upholstery, tenancy or another qualifying main service, list the rugs in the same form. Include the approximate size, material if known and any particular marks. We can then consider the rugs as part of the complete job and confirm what is suitable before booking.
